When clients are happy, so are owners, but it’s another thing to wow your clients so much that they remember you for the rest of their lives. One thoughtful way to seal the deal on an amazing project is to give the client something that shows them they are valued. It’s sentimental, and the goal is not to bribe the client but to show them that you are grateful. On the flip side, your gift supports another entrepreneur who is just like you (#supportsmallbuinesses). Gift-giving can be tough, and let’s say it. There are many businesses out there with unique and thoughtful gifts. Stop, before you buy your client a $100 basket or a $0.40 thank you card, take a look at the list I have compiled below. I have done some extensive web searching to find impressive gifts to wow your clients and exceed their expectations.

A Reminder To Do What You Love

You are an entrepreneur, you should love what you do daily.

By RIVKAH WALTON

Hey Entrepreneurs,

As an entrepreneur, we have to be reminded that we are doing this because we love what we do. What does that mean? We pursued this career in entrepreneurialism not only because we wanted to be our own bosses, set our own schedules, and make money, but because we had a passion which led us to start a business. For me ever since I was a child, I’ve loved art and being creative, solving puzzles(problems), and designing things. In the past few years of me freelancing and starting a business, I found that I had lost my passion. Design and creativity had become a tedious task that was, at times, a burden. I wasn’t creating for fun anymore, and I was always working. It took me going back to school to see the beauty in doing passion projects and setting aside a few hours a day to work on projects. So, remember your passion, remember to take time away from business (because as entrepreneurs we suck at that), remember to enjoy.

Things to keep in mind:

  1. It’s easy to get burned out, even if you are doing what you love. That burnout is there to show you that there’s a better way. Such as managing your time better, getting sufficient sleep, creating a better process, or setting boundaries for clients.
  2. Do not force yourself into a mold. What I mean is, be you! There are a ton of people out there that will tell you how to be, but you have to be you. Genuineness goes a long way in the eyes of an audience.
  3.  There is a time and a place for everything. Allocate your time and stick to it.

I’d like to know:

Do you love what you do?

Have you ever had a project that you weren’t passionate about? What made you disinterested about it?
